Tamil Nadu Raises Power Tariff By 4.83% From July 1

Electricity prices in Tamil Nadu are set to rise from July 1, affecting consumers who will now pay more per unit. The Tamil Nadu Electricity Regulatory Commission (TNERC) announced a 4.83% tariff increase. Rates for usage up to 400 units rise from Rs 4.60 to Rs 4.80, and from Rs 6.15 to Rs 6.45 for 401-500 units.
