Telangana Official’s Premises Yield Rs 40L Cash, Rs 100Cr Assets

The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) reportedly discovered Rs 40 lakh in unaccounted cash and assets valued at Rs 100 crore in raids at various locations linked to Shiva Balakrishna, secretary of the Telangana State Real Estate Regulatory Authority (TSRERA). The ACB, employing 18 teams, conducts searches at 16 locations, uncovering gold, mobile phones, bank deposits, and flats. Shiva Balakrishna’s family allegedly lacks cooperation, and the investigation extends to scrutinizing bank lockers and additional assets.
