Tunisha Sharma Case: Sheezan’s Sister Falak Naaz Alleges Media Trial

Falak Naaz

Falak Naaz had earlier said that both Tunisha’s family and hers are victims so far. She questioned the alleged media trial of his actor-brother Sheezan Khan

Mumbai: Falaq Naaz, a television actor, questioned the purported media trial of his actor-brother Sheezan Khan, who is charged with the murder of Tunisha Sharma, a co-star, and ex-partner. The “Sasural Simar Ka” actor questioned whether his brother was being disparaged for his religion in a post on Instagram.

Taking to Instagram Falak wrote, “It’s so upsetting to see these people relentlessly malign Sheezan this way. From making up stories, to dragging religion into the matter and random people claiming to be our acquaintances for their 15-minute fame.”

Ms Naaz in an apparent reference to the Shraddha Walkar murder case additionally stated, “For all the people demeaning Sheezan – ask yourself this – are you talking based on the situation, or are you talking out of hate for a religion? Or are you talking out of influence from previous events? Stay woke, people!”

Ms. Naaz questioned the “common sense of the masses” as well as how the probe was covered by the media.

“The journalism standards of a certain section of media have stooped so low that it only functions based on TRP. And YOU are their consumer. It’s equally your responsibility to report news with unreliable sources. Don’t be fooled,” her post read.

Comparatively, she praised those who “are able to see through the false narratives.”

A fortnight after her romance with Sheezan Khan ended, Tunisha Sharma was allegedly discovered hanging at a TV series set last week. At a news conference on Friday, Sheezan’s mother, Vanita Sharma, made a number of accusations against her and raised the possibility of “murder.”
