Vikram Misri To Visit Bhutan, First Trip Abroad As Foreign Secretary

Vikram Misri, Indiaโ€™s Foreign Secretary, will embark on his inaugural international trip to Bhutan, commencing Friday for a two-day visit. Scheduled in Thimphu, he plans to meet with Prime Minister Tshering Tobgay, Foreign Minister DN Dhungyel, and other officials, highlighting Indiaโ€™s โ€˜Neighbourhood Firstโ€™ policy. Additionally, he will be granted an audience with Bhutanese King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck.
