Vikram Misri To Visit Bhutan, First Trip Abroad As Foreign Secretary

Vikram Misri, India’s Foreign Secretary, will embark on his inaugural international trip to Bhutan, commencing Friday for a two-day visit. Scheduled in Thimphu, he plans to meet with Prime Minister Tshering Tobgay, Foreign Minister DN Dhungyel, and other officials, highlighting India’s ‘Neighbourhood First’ policy. Additionally, he will be granted an audience with Bhutanese King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck.

Satna| As the polling day draws closer in the state of Madhya Pradesh the campaigning has started to intensify. Amidst the hectic campaign schedule, BJP President Amit Shah visited the famous Maihar temple near Satna in Madhya Pradesh.

On Sunday, Amit Shah held a rally in Manihar and stayed overnight to visit the temple on Monday morning. Along with Shah, state BJP president Rakesh Singh and Lok Sabha MP from Satna Ganesh Singh too paid a visit to the temple. Shah spent around 10 minutes at the temple before leaving for Narsinghpur district.

Madhya Pradesh will be going for polling on November 28 and results will be announced on December 11.
