“Literally nothing smaller in the world than the empty hearts of Sanghis! Whatta petty pathetic bunch of people!”, Swara Bhaskar said in a tweet.
Right-wing digital portal OP India’s Editor-in-chief Nupur Sharma and actress Swara Bhaskar indulged in a war of words on Twitter after the latter expressed disgrace over the alleged islamophobic views of the former.
Nupur Sharma on Thursday tweeted, ” Dear Muslims, Garba is a deeply religious affair – it’s not entertainment. It’s a celebration of Navadurga, of the mighty Devi and her nine forms. If you want to participate, please do ghar wapasi and submit to Maa. Else, pls stay away. Thank you.”
Ghar wapsi is a term used by Hindu extremists to refer to conversion to the original faith.

The tweet did not quite go down well with actress Swara Bhaskar, who went on to slam the so-called journalist.
“Literally nothing smaller in the world than the empty hearts of Sanghis! Whatta petty pathetic bunch of people!”, Swara Bhaskar said in a tweet.

What followed was even nastier. Responding to actress Swara Bhaskar, Sharma tweeted referring to Swara’s old video of dancing at the Ganpati Visarjan festival at Salman Khan’s Mumbai residence.
Why don’t you concentrate on doing Mujra in front of Salman Khan? Aukaat se zyada muh nahi kholna chahiye. https://t.co/kEAqhlUoky

According to Wikipedia, Op India has published fake news and anti-Muslim commentary on multiple occasions, including a 2020 incident in which it falsely claimed that a Hindu boy was sacrificed in a Bihar mosque.
