A video of Save Aarey activist, Mandeep Singh Bhamra did not want to break his Sundays for Aarey campaign streak of participating in the ‘Save Aarey’ public demonstration at Picnic Point inside Aarey Colony although his marriage was fixed this Sunday itself.

The fellow Save Aarey activists, who marked their presence at the wedding in their best dresses also flashed ‘Save Aarey Forest’ and ‘No Trees, No Lives’ placards.

Like the last 8 Sundays, this week also Save aarey protesters had gathered at the Aarey’s picnic point to protest against the metro car shed that the Maharashtra government has decided to build on the location.
Leaders from the Sharad Pawar lead Nationalist Congress Party had joined the movement to support the protest.
The Save Aarey matter is listed to be heard on Tuesday, A bench led by CJI UU Lalit will be hearing the case.
