Watch: Sonia Gandhi & Priyanka Gandhi Join Bharat Jodo Yatra In Delhi

New Delhi: As Bharat Jodo Yatra reaches Delhi, Former Congress chief Sonia Gandhi, party General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra along with her husband Robert Vadra joined Rahul Gandhi in Congress’ Yatra.

A large number of party workers at the Badarpur border welcomed the Bharat Jodo Yatra. Before the yatra reached the Ashram Chowk here for the morning halt, Sonia Gandhi was seen wearing a mask and walking with Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi.

The yatra entered Delhi from the Faridabad side in Haryana. Delhi unit chief Anil Chaudhary welcomed Bharat Jodo Yatra to the state. Congress MLA Jitu Patwari was also seen at the yatra.

This is the second time Sonia Gandhi has joined the yatra. In October, she participated in the Yatra in Karnataka. Priyanka Gandhi too participated in the yatra in Madhya Pradesh.

As a part of Bharat Jodo Yatra, senior party leaders, including former Haryana chief minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda, Kumari Selja, Randeep Surjewala, Shaktisinh Gohil and others accompanied Rahul Gandhi.

As the Bharat Jodo Yatra entered the national capital, security was heightened from Badarpur to Ashram. Barricades were erected on the roads. Multiple teams of police personnel were also deployed at multiple points to maintain the law and order situation.

The Yatra’s flag transfer ceremony took place near Badarpur metro station. “Some people are spreading hatred but the common man of the country is now talking about love. In every state, lakhs have joined the yatra. I’ve said to people of RSS-BJP that we’re here to open the shop of love in your ‘bazaar’ of hatred,” Congress MP Rahul Gandhi said soon after reaching Delhi.

“There is Hindustan and ‘Mohabbat’ (love) in this Bharat Jodo yatra, which does not see any caste, creed, religion, rich or poor and all embrace each other,” he told a large gathering.
