Watch: “Stop Threatening Media,” Tells Kejriwal To PM’s Media Advisor Hiren Joshi

Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief Arvind Kejriwal on Sunday opened new front of attack against the central government as he accused the Prime Minister’s media advisor Hiren Joshi of threatening news channel editors to not carry news regarding the AAP. Hiren Joshi is currently OSD (Communications & Information Technology) in PMO.

“There’s one gentleman who works in Prime Minister’s office. He’s media advisor to PM- Hiren Joshi. Editors and owners of very big channels have shown me what vulgar abuses he sends them,” the AAP chief claimed.

“We’ll do this and that if you show Kejriwal on channel, there’s no need to cover AAP, you are misusing your channel. What type of threats they are giving! Is this how you’ll run the country, by threatening people?” the Delhi CM asked.

“Then they call and threaten them. Today, I want to tell Hiren Joshi ji just one thing. If someone leaks the screenshots of the messages you have sent to these editors on social media, you and the PM will not be able to show your faces in this country. And about these threats that you give, many have recorded your calls. If someone leaks your recording on social media, you will not be able to show your face,” Mr Kejriwal said.

“Stop this filth. stop threatening media,” the Delhi CM said.
