“Will Not Bow Down To Mohan Bhagwat Community”: Shiv Sena’s Sushma Andhare

Mohan Bhagwat

Referring to the RSS as the Mohan Bhagwat community the Sena leader said “If I hurt sentiments of Bhagawt community I will apologize not once but ten times, but if in the name of Bhagwat community Mohan Bhagwat community would cash-in and Manuwadi people would cash-in I will not bow down.”

While speaking at a public rally on Sunday deputy leader Shushma Aandhare said: “When they could not fear me with ED, CBI and could not answer the questions I posed in front of them they started picking out clips from my old speeches.

“They edited the beginning and end of my speeches and claimed that I insulted the Varkari community. The Bhagwat community has always believed in rational thinking, I am too connected to the Bhagwat community, in fact, I had begun my address at the Dushera rally taking names of Sant, and Mahatama of the Bhagwat community, still they are throwing dirt at me.” The Sena deputy leader said.

“If you check, all the videos are being uploaded on BJP and MNS-linked social media pages, because i had collected the best of the wishes from MNS and BJP.” Sena firebrand leader said.

She further said, “Today is 25th December the day when Babasaheb burnt the Manusmruti and laid the foundation of the Indian constitution.”

As part of its counter-attack against Maharashtra Vikas Aghadi (MVA)’s Halla Bol Morcha, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Balasahebanchi Shiv Sena (BSS) held Maafi Mango Andolan on 17 December.  The protest also saw Warkaris participating with their Dindi to condemn remarks by Sushama Andhare against saints and the Warkari sect by Sena leader Sushama Andhare reported Hindustan Times.

It was during the ‘Dussehra Melava’ or Dussehra rally organized by Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray), or Shiv Sena (UBT), in Mumbai’s Shivaji Park in October this year, that party deputy leader Sushma Andhare grabbed eyeballs after her fiery speech.

Since then the Sena leader is at the radar of the Shinde Sena and the BJP, on the other hand, Andhare has also time and again raised uncomfortable questions for the ruling government in her witty and aggressive style.
