Wrestler Vinesh Phogat’s CAS Decision Delayed

The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) has extended the decision deadline for wrestler Vinesh Phogat’s plea by 72 hours, until August 13, 9:30 PM IST. The delay, announced on August 10, came just before the expected verdict, allowing both parties additional time to present evidence before the closure of the Paris Olympics.
