Pakistan Sends ISI Agents To Bangladesh, India Says โ€˜Keeping An Eyeโ€™

New Delhi is on alert as Pakistan sends its top army officials and spies to Bangladesh. On Friday, India said that we are closely monitoring the recent development and will take appropriate steps regarding national security.

External Affairs Ministry Spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said at a weekly media briefing, โ€œWe keep an eye on all activities around the country and in the region, as well as all activities affecting national security, and the government will take appropriate steps.โ€

The remarks follow right after a high-profile delegation from Pakistanโ€™s Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) concluded its four-day visit to Bangladesh on Friday, led by Major General Shahid Amir Afsar.

The visit follows the recent trip by top Bangladeshi military officials to Pakistan, where they met with the three service chiefs.
