New Delhi | Delhi MLA Alka Lamba Aam Aadmi Party’s Chandini Chowk legislator Alka Lamba quit the party with a ‘time to say goodbye’ message.
After many months of bitterness, Lamba quit the party on Friday.
“The time has come to say ‘Good Bye’ to #AAP and to resign from the primary membership of the party. The past six years’ journey was a great learning for me. Thanks to all,” Alka Lamba tweeted.

Earlier this week, she had met with Congress president Sonia Gandhi, setting off speculation that she would return to her old party ahead of state polls next year.
“Discussion with Smt Sonia Gandhi on current affairs was long due. Today, got a chance to discuss all issues with her. In politics, such interactions have been going on and must continue”, she had tweeted.
