Arvind Kejriwal launches ‘AK app’ to connect with volunteers, fight ‘fake news’

Through this app, people can get information about the upcoming election programs and the work being done by the Delhi government.

 

New Delhi| Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has launched the ‘AK’ mobile app on Wednesday to keep in touch with Aam Admi Party workers. Senior party leader Gopal Rai informed the media. He also said that Kejriwal will meet the workers in a closed-door meeting across the country.

Aam Aadmi Party’s Delhi in-charge said, “After direct talk to volunteers, Arvind Kejriwal has launched this mobile app.” He said, “We have done a mass democracy program all over Delhi. Arvind Kejriwal will contact volunteers in view of the preparations for the assembly elections to be held in Delhi.” Assembly elections are due in Delhi next year.

Through this app, people can get information about the upcoming election programs and the work being done by the Delhi government. All events will also be streamed live on it. Kejriwal said during the launch that the Delhi model of governance will be directly available.

Arvind Kejriwal said that to deal with fake news, this app will be useful. The app depicts the entire movement through which the party was formed, he said.
