Asaduddin Owaisi is not at all surprised on Pragya Thakur’s ‘toilet’ remark

Hyderabad | AIMIM Chief Asaduddin Owaisi has responded to Pragya Singh Thakur’s remark asserted that he is not at all surprised by it.

“Not at all surprised, neither I’m shocked by this obnoxious statement; she says this because that is her thought process. The MP believes in the caste & class discrimination happening in India”, Owaisi told reporters.

“Pragya Thakur also clearly tells that the kind of work the caste has defined, that should continue. It is very unfortunate. Also, she has openly opposed the PM’s program”, he added.

Yesterday BJP MP Pragya Singh Thakur landed herself in trouble again, after she made a controversial remark.

“We are not here for cleaning a drain. Is it clear?. We are absolutely not (here) for cleaning your toilets. The work which we are supposed to do and elected for, we will do it honestly. This we had said in the past, saying it today and stick to it in future as well”, she had said.

She had said the job of an MP is to work with MLAs, corporators and public representatives to ensure development.

Pragya Thakur is a first time MP from Bhopal after she defeated veteran Congress leader Digvijaya Singh.
