Recalling the poetic side of Former PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee

Atal Bihari Vajpayee said, “My poetry is a declaration of war, not an exordium to defeat. It is not the defeated soldier’s drumbeat of despair, but the fighting warrior’s will to win.”

 

Atal Bihari Vajpayee along with a renowned statesman was known for his writing work. The former Prime Minister was famous for his take on the socio-political scenario of the country.  Vajpayee once while speaking about his poem said, ” “My poetry is a declaration of war, not an exordium to defeat. It is not the defeated soldier’s drumbeat of despair, but the fighting warrior’s will to win.
