Baijayant Jay Panda quits BJD

Bhuwaneshwar: Biju Janta Dal MP Jay Panda on Monday wrote a letter to Navin Patnaik and announced that he will no longer be a part of politics into which our BJD has descended.

In a letter to Odisha Chief Minister and BJD chief Navin Patnaik, Jay Panda said “It’s with deep anguish, hurt and sorrow that I have decided to quit the politics into which our BJD has descended,” also wrote that he’ll formally convey his decision to the Lok Sabha Speaker.

BJD Member of Parliament from Kendrapara constituency in Odhisa, Jay Panda was suspended from the Biju Janata Dal party for his anti-party activities on 24 January 2018.MR. Panda had denied the charges against him as “false and baseless.” He also alleged there was a conspiracy against him.

Jay Panda further added that he will separately formally write to Lok Sabha Speaker about his resignation from the Lok Sabha.
