Former Congress Chief Rahul Gandhi had resigned two days after massive defeat in the Lok Sabha elections, taking “moral responsibility” for the loss. Since then, speculations arose on who will be the next Congress chief, especially after Rahul Gandhi had announced that the new chief will be a “Non-Gandhi”.
The announcement was made Saturday night after Congress Working Committee (CWC) accepted Rahul Gandhi’s resignation at its second meeting of the day.
