Patna| Bihar Governor Lalji Tandon and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Saturday expressed condolences on the death of senior Congress leader Sheila Dikshit.
Tandon has expressed “profound grief” over the death of the former Delhi chief minister, a Raj Bhavan release said.

In his condolence message, Kumar said, “Sheila Dikshit was soft-spoken, extremely sociable and popular among the masses and she will be always remembered for her efforts towards the development of Delhi.”
Her death has caused an irreparable loss to not just Delhi, but the entire country, Kumar said.
Condolence messages were also issued by Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi and former chief ministers Rabri Devi and Jitan Ram Manjhi.
