The AICC in-charge of Telangana RC Khuntia even said that the BJP and TRS have tacit understanding for the upcoming assembly polls.
Hyderabad| BJP will not support Telangana Rashtra Samithi or even enter into a post-poll alliance with them, clarified the party on Monday. Telangana BJP spokesperson Krishna Saagar Rao rejected the charge of “tacit understanding” between TRS and BJP leveled by Congress. He said that even if the TRS falls short of majority, the BJP will not join them. However, he sought the same “guarantee” from the Congress.
“I have a challenge for Uttam Kumar Reddy and Rahul Gandhi. Will you guarantee the people of Telangana that if KCR falls short of winning that you will not help?” asked Rao. Further he added that BJP assures that it will not form government with TRS. “We can assure you that we will not. Even if the TRS falls short, that BJP will not, no matter how many seats we get, we will not form government with TRS,” Rao claimed.
Since, the TRS chief dissolved the assembly, Congress has been alleging him to be a “stooge” of the BJP. The AICC in-charge of Telangana RC Khuntia even said that the BJP and TRS have tacit understanding for the upcoming assembly polls in the state.
On the other hand, senior TRS leader B Vinod Kumar ruled out TRS aligning with any parties as of yet, especially the national parties. “TRS will not align with any other party, much less the national political parties (BJP and Congress),” said Kumar.
Telangana Assembly polls are scheduled to be conducted on December 7 and counting would be held on December 11.
