Congress divided India into vote banks: BJP MP Rakesh Singh

New Delhi | Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) MP Rakesh Singh on Friday while speaking during the discussion of the No-confidence motion in Lok Sabha alleged the Congress party of dividing the country for vote banks.

Attacking the Congress party Singh said, “We have had one Congress family in government for the bulk of our years as a free nation”.”Congress during its rule divided India into vote banks and practiced appeasing them,” he added.

While praising the work of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the BJP MP from Jabalpur said, “PM Modi has risen above caste, community and religion, and believes in “sabka saath, sabka vikaas”. We go buy peoples’ needs, not their identities.” Singh added that the current government served around 2 crore poor people.

Listing out the work done by the Narendra Modi government, Rakesh Singh said, “Ujjwala Yojna provides women LPG access finally after 70 years of independence”. ” Everyone will have a pakka house in India by 2022,” he added.

Speaking about the most successful initiative of road construction during the Modi government, Singh said,”With the same bureaucrats, agencies, workers, we are building 27 km of roads per day, compared to the earlier 12 km per day, because of our strong anti-corruption stance.” Singh also addressed the lower house about the successful foreign policy of NDA listing out Doklam/China issue and building a temple in UAE.
