Congress tweets Manmohan Singh’s photo hours after PM Modi’s long flight tweet

New Delhi: Few hours after Prime Minister Narendra Modi tweeted a photo saying working on a long flight, Congress posted a counter response posting the photo of Former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh conducting a press conference in the flight.

Congress jeering at the post tweeted, “Some photographs are harder to copy. Former PM, Dr. Manmohan Singh addressing Press Conferences on board Air India One.”

PM Modi today early in the morning tweeted a photo while going to Washington where he has a packed three-day schedule, including a Quad meeting and an address to the UN General Assembly. He was seen sifting through files and paper work and tweeted, “A long flight also means opportunities to go through papers and some file work.”

Several BJP leaders shared the Prime Minister’s tweet.

Railway Minister Ashwini Kumar retweeted and said, ” Always serving the nation without stopping or getting tired.”

PM Modi arrived at Washington today for three-days trip in the morning. During the visit he will participate in the first in-person Quad Summit with the US, Australia and Japan. He will hold a bilateral meeting with US President Joe Biden.

He was welcomed with open hands by Indian-Americans. He will address the United Nations (UN) general assembly. He arrived at the Joint Base Andrews in Washington DC today morning. PM Modi was received at the airport by senior officials of the Biden Administration and India’s Ambassador to the US, Taranjit Singh Sandhu.

The Prime Minister is also scheduled to meet a number of top executives of major American companies in Washington, including the heads of Qualcomm, Adobe, Blackstone, General Atomics and First Solar, reported news agency ANI.

Yesterday, PM also talked about the mutual recognition of the vaccine certificate indirectly targeting the UK’s new Covid-19 guidelines which says that Indian travelers should follow quarantine rules albeit being fully vaccinated. UK on Wednesday said that Indian vaccines are not the problem but the vaccine certification is.
