Sushma Swaraj said that usually, the party takes the decision, however, she has already conveyed to the party that she will not be contesting 2019 elections.

 

Indore | Union Minister Sushma Swaraj on Tuesday announced that she will not contest the next election due to health reasons. Sushma Swaraj announced this in a press conference held in Indore. In a discussion with the media, Sushma Swaraj was asked whether she will be contesting next elections.

Replying to the query, Swaraj said that usually, the party takes the decision, however, she has already conveyed to the party that she will not be contesting 2019 elections. She cited health issues as the reason.
