On Friday, the Delhi High Court issued a notice to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in response to Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s bail application concerning the excise policy case. Initially, the court acknowledged CBI’s argument that Kejriwal should have approached a city court first but later decided to assess the merits of Kejriwal’s direct appeal to the high court during the proceedings.
