ED Accepts Rahul Gandhi’s Request, Issues Fresh Summon On June 20

On Thursday, Sonia Gandhi went through a procedure, The congress president was admitted after she tested positive for Covid-19 on Sunday.

New Delhi: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Thursday accepted the request of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi to postpone his questioning to Monday, June 20.

The probe agency has hence issued a fresh summon for Monday.

MR Gandhi had requested the ED officials that he had to be at Ganga Ram Hospital to take care of his mother, Sonia Gandhi.

According to sources, On Thursday, Sonia Gandhi went through a procedure, The congress president was admitted to hospital after she tested positive for Covid on Sunday.

The Congress leader will spend his day at Ganga Ram Hospital to look after his mother, sources said.

A day earlier, Rahul Gandhi was asked by the ED officials to appear for the fourth consecutive round of questioning on Friday, June 17.

The ED had previously summoned Sonia Gandhi on June 8 for questioning in the money laundering allegations over the National Herald case.
