National Security above Internet security is the priority of the government, Amit Shah told Parliament

 

NEW DELHI| On Wednesday while addressing Rajya Sabha Home Minister Amit Shah said there is no curfew in Kashmir. Kashmir is back to normalcy.

Projecting the current state report of Kashmir in Rajya Sabha, Amit Shah guarded internet ban in the state said we handed it over to the local administration to look into as there are high possibilities of Pakistan interference in the region.

“Internet in Kashmir will be restored as soon as local administration feels it is fit to do so,” the Home Minister said. “As far as internet services are concerned, the decision can be taken by the Jammu and Kashmir authorities. There are activities by Pakistan too in Kashmir region, so keeping security in mind, whenever the local authority deems it fit, a decision will be taken”, he said.

‘Amit Shad denied any curfew in any police station area in J&K. Sufficient availability of medicines in the valley, food, petrol, kerosene, etc. There is no problem. Mobile medicine vans have also started. The administration has taken care of health services’, Shah said.

As the debate further continues, contradicting the views of Shah, Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad said children’s education was affected due to the restriction on which Amit Shah said, “I challenge Ghulam Nabi Azad Sahab to counter these facts which I presented, why don’t you object to these figures on record? I am willing to discuss this issue for even an hour”.

Claiming the National Security above Internet security is the priority of the government said the Home Minister countering the question raised by the oppositions.

The state has already been normalized answered by Amit Shah on questioning when Kashmir will experience the homeliness.
