On Thursday, the Delhi Rouse Avenue Court granted bail to Congress leader Karti Chidambaram in a money laundering case linked to alleged visa irregularities for 263 Chinese nationals in 2011. The Enforcement Directorate accused Chidambaram of accepting a Rs 50 lakh bribe to expedite visa approvals for Chinese workers involved in a Punjab power plant project.
