Maharashtra and Haryana elections: BJP maintains leads in Maharashtra and Haryana but opposition catching up

Mumbai| The results have started coming in and the BJP has maintained an early lead. While BJP is leading on 109 seats, Shivsena is leading on 71 seats, Congress is leading on 39 seats while NCP is leading on 50 seats.

BJP and Congress leading on 15 seats, Congress on 3 seats and others on 2 seats
Thane
BJP is leading on 7 seats while Shivsena is leading on 8 seats. NCP is leading on 2 seats
Nagpur
BJP is leading on 9 seats, Congress on 3 seats
Pune
BJP leading on 9 seats, Shivsena leading on 2 seats, Congress on 1 seat and NCP on 9 seats
Nashik
BJP leading on 4 seats, Shivsena leading on 3 seats, Congress on 2 seats and NCP on 4 seats

In Haryana, BJP is leading on just 8 seats more than the Congress. BJP is leading on 39 seats, Congress on 32 seats, JJP on 10 seats and others on 9 seats.
