Maharashtra Crisis: The tussle between Uddhav Thackeray’s side and the rebels led by minister Eknath Shinde scaled up on Sunday.

The Radisson Blu Guwahati, a five-star hotel, has halted accepting new reservation requests until June 30. According to sources, members of the BJP youth wing have been assigned to shifts to assist with the logistics throughout the day.
According to Sena insiders, Uddhav Thackeray is in contact with at least 20 MLAs who are camping with Mr. Shinde. Some of them are opposed to joining forces with the BJP.
Sharad Pawar, the head of the Nationalist Congress Party and the primary strategist of the ruling Maha Vikas Aghadi coalition, met in private with alliance members and reaffirmed his support for Mr. Thackeray.
Sena leaders Sanjay Raut and Aaditya Thackeray launched venomous attacks on the rebels as the conflict between Uddhav Thackeray’s side and them intensified. Eknath Shinde questioned how Bal Thackeray’s party could back somebody who had a direct relationship to Dawood Ibrahim, reportedly in reference to NCP minister Nawab Malik.
