Mamata Banerjee criticise CM Yogi over calling Indian Army as ‘Modi Sena’

New Delhi | West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee today criticised Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath over calling the Indian Army as ‘Modi Sena’.

Calling CM Yogi’s statement as an insult and humiliation to the Indian Army, Banerjee on her Twitter account wrote, “It is shocking to hear the UP CM saying that the Indian Army is the ‘Modi Sena’. Such blatant personalisation and usurping of our beloved Indian Army is an insult and a humiliation.”

Banerjee further stated that the Indian Army is an asset to the country and not an cassette of the BJP. She wrote,” We are proud of our Army. They belong to all. They are a great asset of our nation, and not a cassette of the BJP. People of this country must stand up and reject this statement.”

Earlier while addressing a rally in Western Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath has alleged that the Congress party severed biryani to terrorist while ‘Modiji’s Sena’ offered bullets and bombs to the terrorist. He further added that the Congress party is encouraging terrorism by referring Jaish-e-Mohammed chief as ‘Masood Azhar Ji’.
