New Delhi| Former Prime Minister of India and senior Congress leader Dr Manmohan Singh released a statement late on Monday night. All decisions are taken collectively. They are mentioned in the files.”

He said, “Any agreement or recommendation is examined by many authorities at many stages. Chidambaram also approved the agreements or recommendations made under the consensus process as a minister. If there is no fault of the officials in this matter, then how is it possible that the minister is responsible for this? ”

Dr Singh said, “While the minister has only approved the agreements or recommendations which were put forward by the officials. If the minister is responsible for approving any kind of recommendation, then our entire system of government will collapse. We are confident and we hope that the court will do justice in this case. ”
