Recalling PM Modi’s promise to be a “chowkidar” (protector) of the nation, Gandhi said that PM had taken the responsibility to protect people’s money.

Further taking a dig at PM Modi’s “Pariksha pe Charcha” event following the release of his book ‘Exam Warriors’, Rahul Gandhi said Prime minister should instead answer the people’s questions. Gandhi said, “I would like to request the Prime Minister to come out and, instead of spending an hour and a half explaining to little kids how to take exams, explain to the people of India what is going to be done to this Mr Nirav Modi.” Rahul also sought an answer from PM Modi on steps taken by the government to ensure the safety of the banking system. Rahul Gandhi even alleged that the scam might amount up to 22,000 crores.
