Nagpur: The winter session for the year 2022 began today in Nagpur. Saroj Ahir the MLA from the Nationalist Congress Party entered the Bhavan carrying her two-and-a-half-month-old infant.

I am a mother and the people’s representative, the NCP leader declared as she emphasized the significance of attending the meeting. No assembly session has been convened in Nagpur for the past two and a half years as a result of the corona pandemic.

Despite the fact that I am a mother now, I came here to ask questions and make my views in order to provide my voters with answers. The infant of Ahir is 2.5 months old. On September 30, the NCP MLA gave birth to a child and attended the media briefing.

The Nagpur Winter session began today and featured more technologically advanced workshops as well as a new member-exclusive app.
Eknath Shinde, the chief minister of Maharashtra, had earlier stated that there shouldn’t be any politics surrounding the boundary dispute with Karnataka in the Legislative Assembly on Monday.

“For the first time, the Union Home Minister has mediated in the inter-state border dispute between Maharashtra and Karnataka. There should be no politics on this issue now. We should stand together with the border residents,” said Chief Minister Shinde.
