Nitin Gadkari slams own party, says “BJP govt ruins everything it lays hands on”

Nitin Gadkari said, “I do not take the help of the government in completing any project, because wherever the government lays hands, it gets ruined.”

 

Nagpur| Several leaders of Bharatiya Janata Party are slamming the party these days. Party MP Subramanian Swamy slammed the BJP govt over economic slowdown whereas Himanta Biswa Sharma slammed it over NRC procedure. Now, it is Union Minister Nitin Gadkari targeting the Modi government.

According to some reports, Union Minister Gadkari slammed his own government while addressing a program in Nagpur.

Gadkari said that –

“I do not take the help of the government in completing any project, because wherever the government lays hands, it gets ruined.”

He also said that the suicides of farmers in Vidarbha region are a shame for the ruling party.

Nitin Gadkari holds the charge of the Ministry of Roads and Transport in the current government. Gadkari’s work was highly appreciated in the first term of the Modi government. However, it is becoming evident from his statement that his department or he may be at the crossroads with the government.
