Omar Abdullah slams Ram Madhav; challenges him to prove the allegations

“You HAVE claimed my party has been acting at the behest of Pakistan. I dare you to prove it!” Omar Abdullah said to Ram Madhav.

Srinagar| Slamming BJP’s national general secretary Ram Madhav‘s recent remarks saying that the National Conference and PDP received instructions from across the border to form the government, NC Chief Omar Abdullah challenged Madhav to prove his allegations.

A Twitter fight broke between the two after Ram Madhav talking to a news agency said that NC and PDP received instructions from across the border to boycott the local body elections.

Reacting sharply to the comment, furious Abdullah dared Ram Madhav to prove his allegations and produce the evidence before the public. He tweeted, “You have RAW, NIA & IB at your command (CBI too is your parrot) so have the guts to place evidence in the public domain.” “Either prove this or be man enough to apologise. Don’t practice shoot & scoot politics,” he added.

Replying to this, Ram Madhav asked Omar Abdullah to “Just take it stride”. Noting that he was not questioning Abdullah’s patriotism, Madhav said, “Sudden love between NC n PDP and the hurry to form government leads to many suspicions and political comments. Not to offend you.”

However, Omar Abdullah seemed unimpressed with it. Countering Madhav, he said that “misplaced attempts at humour won’t work”. “You HAVE claimed my party has been acting at the behest of Pakistan. I dare you to prove it!” said Abdullah. He gave an open challenge to Ram Madhav and his party to place the evidence in the public domain.
