“Find missing girl in one week or face protest”: Tejashwi Yadav to Nitish Kumar

Tejashwi Yadav alleged that Nitish Kumar is unable to run the state and should resign on a moral ground. He even called Kumar a coward.

New Delhi| The Muzaffarpur shelter home rape case has stoked political blame-game in the state of Bihar. After leading a massive candle march in the capital, the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Yadav has demanded a resignation from the Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on moral ground. He accused that despite knowing everything, Nitish Kumar protected the accused. “Instead of fighting for justice for our daughters, he is shielding those who committed the crimes”, he said.

Tejashwi Yadav alleged that Nitish Kumar is unable to run the state and should resign on a moral ground. He even called Kumar a coward. “He’s the most coward CM who isn’t fighting for justice for our daughters,” said Yadav. He must resign from state Home Ministry as well,” Tejashwi was quoted by the news agency ANI as saying.

Tejashwi even hinted at a massive state-wide protest if the government fails to find the missing girl, who was shifted from the shelter home. He gave an ultimatum of one week to the Bihar CM.

Bihar CM Nitish Kumar came under fire over the rape and torture of 34 girls in a state-funded Muzaffarpur shelter home in Bihar. According to the chargesheet, the case saw a nexus of police, politicians, and criminals for almost four and half years.
