Raipur | Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Raman Singh on Saturday said that the ruling Narendra Modi led Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will stand united against the Opposition parties in the upcoming 2019 Lok Sabha elections.
Raman Singh after conducting a meeting with State BJP leader told media that “An ideological battle is going on the country. At one side of this fight is BJP and on the other are all those parties who are fighting in different parts of the country for their existence. Their only motive is to push the BJP at the back in 2019 elections.”
He further added that the opposition parties are in fear as the government schemes are getting implemented. We have to unite our BJP cadres against the impure grand alliance. We will stand united for 2019 elections against the grand alliance.”
Raman Singh’s statement has come after National Conference (NC) leader Omar Abdullah urged the regional parties to come together to defeat the BJP in the forthcoming 2019 general elections after meeting West Bengal CM Mamta Banerjee in Howrah.
