Targeting VK Sasikala’s extended family, K Palaniswami, the chief minister of Tamil Nadu stated that both the parties rolled out by her kin would soon ‘vanish’ from the scene.
Taking a jibe at them, he told the reporters in Coimbatore that within two months of TTV Dinakaran, Sasikala’s nephew forming a new party that is named as Amma Makkal Munnetra Kazhagam had already seen a “split”.
Mr Divakaran who had planted maximum attack against Mr Dhinakaran concerning the affairs of the party named his party ‘Amma Ani’, which means Amma faction and had named it after the late chief minister Jayalalitha.
Reacting to S Ve Shekher not being arrested in a case that was filed against him for sharing a post that had derogatory references to media, Palaniswami stated the “guilty will not be spared.”
Shekher has moved the High Court of Madras as he seeks an anticipatory bail in the case.
