Nagpur | Antarashtriya Hindu Parishad (AHP) president Pravin Togadia on Sunday slammed Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Rashtriya Syayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat over the issue of Ram Temple construction in Ayodhya.
Addressing a press conference in Maharashtra’s Nagpur, the former chief of Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) alleged that both PM Modi and Bhagwat do not wish to construct the Ram Temple in Ayodhya. Criticising the RSS chief for his statement where he stated that the Hindu Rashtra does not mean that there is no place for Muslims. Togadiya alleged, “We felt that RSS organization works for the benefit of Hindus, so we got involved in it. But now we know that RSS is an organization of Muslims and is working for the benefit of Muslims.”
Attacking PM Modi, Pravin Togadiya said,”Before coming to power, Narendra Modi had assured the construction of Ram Temple in Ayodhya. But after getting power, Modi has forgotten Lord Rama and has become a lawyer for Muslim women.”
During his speech, Togadiya also questioned the motive of the government over Ram Temple. Togadiya said,” If parliament can decide on SC / ST Act issue instead of court. So why can not Parliament decide on Ram temple?
