Sagar: On Sunday Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh Kamal Nath slammed at Prime Minister Narendra Modi saying that he is now talking about the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) and Pakistan to divert people’s attention from the real issues such as unemployment and rising farmer suicides.
Nath was addressing a function organized to mark the birth anniversary of saint-poet Ravidas. He alleged that under the Modi government regime, unemployment and farmer suicides have gone up.
“Currently Prime Minister Narendra Modi does not talk about farmers and youths issues. He is now talking about the CAA and Pakistan to divert people’s attention from the real issues,” the Madhya Pradesh CM said.
He added, “In India, people have understood PM Modi’s gimmicks. There is a lot of difference between running a nation and giving the hollow talk,”. Nath alleged that more industries have been closed than they were opened during the 15-year-long rule of the BJP in Madhya Pradesh.
Nath claimed, “As the confidence of investors in the state has raised under the current Congress government,”. He promised that in the second phase, his government would waive farm loans of up to Rs two lakh of the remaining farmers in Madhya Pradesh.
Before addressing the rally, he launched several development works worth Rs 3,000 crore.
