At a rally in Ramgarh, the 52-year-old BJP leader said that “voices for separation are rising” in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir.

“After the BJP’s return (to power) here through peaceful elections, Pakistan-occupied Kashmir is also going to be a part of Jammu and Kashmir. And this is the commotion in Pakistan, they are struggling to save their democracy. They are battling hard to save their democracy,” Adityanath said at a rally in the R S Pura area.
Earlier in May 2024, Adityanath had said that POK would be part of India within 6 months of Modi 3.0.

Polls for the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly are ongoing, with polling completed in two phases. The voting in the third phase, for 40 seats, is scheduled for October 1, along with Haryana.

These are the first Assembly polls in the valley after the scrapping of Article 370 of the Constitution. The results of the elections, along with those of the Haryana Assembly election, will be announced on October 8.
