Prime Minister Modi to host a dinner for all MPs tonight; RJD to skip

New Delhi | Prime Minister Narendra Modi will host a dinner for all the members of the parliament on Thursday.

The dinner will be held in the Ashok Hall in Delhi tonight.

The invitation was sent my Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Prahlad Joshi to all the members of the Parliament.

It will be the first time that the Prime Minister will be meeting all the MPs after the new government was formed last month.

However, Rashtriya Lok Dal(RJD) will skip the dinner due to the deaths in Bihar, which have now touched 118 due to Acute Encephalitis.

The Bihar government has announced an ex gratia compensation of Rs 4 lakh each to the families of the children who died due to acute encephalitis.

The AES is a viral disease that causes flu-like symptoms such as high fever, vomiting and in extreme cases, can lead to coma, brain dysfunction, seizure and inflammation of heart and kidney.
