Congress President Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday announced the appointment of Dinesh Gundurao as the new President of the Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC).
Gundurao (48) was earlier the working president of the Karnataka Congress under Parameshwara. The five-time MLA from the Gandhinagar constituency in Bengaluru was the food and civil supplies minister in the previous Congress government in the southern state.
In a Press Release issued by Congress General Secretary Ashok Gehlot, it was also mentioned that Easwar Khandre has been appointed as the Working President of KPCC.

The Press Release concluded with the appreciation of the work done by Mr G. Parameshwara who has been leading the party successfully since the last 8 years and has voluntarily stepped down as the President of KPCC.
