Rahul Gandhi takes a dig at PM Modi over CBSE scams, says watchman is “Weak”

Rahul Gandhi said, “After Data leak, AADHAR leak, SSC Exam leak, Election Date leak now CBSE papers have been leaked.”

A day after the CBSE paper leak hit the lakhs of students across the country forcing the board to re-arrange the examination, Congress President Rahul Gandhi took a dig at Prime Minister Modi asking how many more leaks the country has to deal with.

On Thursday, Rahul Gandhi took it to Twitter to point out the trend of leaks blaming the Modi government for it. Rahul Gandhi said, “After Data leak, AADHAR leak, SSC Exam leak, Election Date leak now CBSE papers have been leaked.” Taking a dig at Prime Minister Modi’s “Chowkidaar” comment during an election speech before 2014, he said, “There is a leak in everything because the ‘Chowkidaar’ is weak.”

Since last few weeks, the politics in the country has charged up as the Facebook data breach by Cambridge Analytica sent alarming signs ahead of 2019 Lok Sabha Elections. The data privacy concerns were also flagged by some activists over AADHAR data. There have been many reports on AADHAR data being leaked. The SSC Examination scam to caught much attention as the aspirants protested in the capital where many political parties showed solidarity with them. Congress President Rahul Gandhi had even joined them in their protest.

The Election Date leak raised eyebrows as BJP IT cell head tweeted the date of Karnataka Assembly election polling and the date of counting even before the Election Commission announced it. On Wednesday, the CBSE issued a notice of re-examination of two papers- class 10th maths paper and Class 12th Economics paper. The CBSE received a lot of flak for poor handling of the examinations.
