He further added that party workers will light up kamal diya (lotus lamps) at the houses of the beneficiaries simultaneously on October 21. “This will spread government in the vicinity of the beneficiaries. We will form teams at the booth level to carry out this activity”, he said.

This step from the state BJP comes after the BJP National president Amit Shah asked the party workers to interact with the voters and establish direct with the voters and promote the work done by the government. Speaking on parties plan, a senior BJP leader said,” District-level workers will be asked to target beneficiaries of various schemes such as loan waiver, crop insurance, crop insurance, concession in educational fee and also those who got government jobs during this regime.”
