In national capital today morning, violent clashes broke out in the Bhajanpura and Maujpur neighborhoods of northeast Delhi for a second time in less than 24 hours, as agitators for and against the controversial citizenship law clashed and threw stones at each other.
On Monday, a family was attacked by a group of miscreants in the area but some people managed to rescue them. A 20-year-old young man was also subjected to a brutal assault by a violent mob.
Delhi Police fired tear gas shells and also resorted to lathi-charge to disperse the protesters.
