New Delhi | Congress Chief Rahul Gandhi’s brother in law, Robert Vadra took a dig at BJP, by saying that he was sad to see that his own party had forgotten him.
BJP Chief Amit Shah was given Gandhinagar constituency, which has seen LK Advani as a sitting MP for years. Advani will not, therefore, contest the Lok Sabha elections.
BJP has received a lot of criticism for ‘ignoring’ their senior leaders.
Robert Vadra, married to Priyanka Gandhi, wrote a Facebook post by posting a photograph of Advani, wrote, “The true leaders with ethics & statesmanship should be rewarded & not ignored”.
“We should not let them wither away. It is disgraceful if we cannot value their seniority and advice”.
It further added that he respected Advani as a good opposition leader.
He also called Advani as “pillar of the party”.
