Self proclaimed godman Sadhguru makes shockingly unscientific claim over pregnancy

On February 16 the video that was tweeted was apparently from a 2017 gynecologists’ conference where Sadhguru was a guest speaker

New Delhi: On Tuesday, yogi Jaggi Vasudev, popularly called as Sadhguru found himself muddled in a Twitter debate. In a controversial video, of his statements about the mother’s milk and how a mother produces different “type of milk” from each breast if she gives birth to opposite-sex twins, went viral among Indian tweeps.

On February 16 the video that was tweeted was apparently from a 2017 gynecologists’ conference where Sadhguru was a guest speaker.

In the video with the caption: “When a woman gives birth to twins, one breast will produce one type of milk and the other will produce other types of milk” – Actual quote from Sadguru. This guy is invited to the national conference of gynecologists as a speaker.”

Many slammed Sadhguru for his remarks with some calling him a “gynecologist” (Gyan is a Sanskrit word for knowledge).

Typical right activist, Sadhguru’s take on feminism is, “Women should have rights, I don’t like that personally. Every individual should’ve rights.” Explaining to young women students of Mount Carmel College in Bengaluru: “Most of the feminists, they didn’t live well, it’s because they talked and talked and talked.” He also added that “it isn’t the lack of men that made their lives empty, it’s their choice of living in constant ‘reactionary’ mode.” Whatever that means.

He said to three young girls that it is actually the greed for money that has led to the rise of patriarchy and ended up giving men a higher position in society. Because, of course, it’s the men who earn money so they’ll obviously have an upper hand.
