“Shows Your Culture”: JP Nadda On Mamata Banerjee’s “Nadda, Fadda” Jibe

CM Mamata Banerjee, describing this incident of stone pelting as a drama of BJP, said, “They have no other work, everyone comes here.”

Kolkata| The political war between the BJP and TMC in West Bengal is intensifying day by day. On Thursday, the convoy of BJP President JP Nadda was attacked allegedly by “TMC Goons”. Now, a verbal war has ensued between the two sides.

CM Mamata Banerjee, describing this incident of stone pelting as a drama of BJP, said, “They have no other work, everyone comes here.” Union Home Minister Amit Shah will also be visiting West Bengal on 19 and 20 December.

Mamata Banerjee said, “They (BJP leaders) have no other business. Often the Home Minister is here, the rest of the time Chaddha, Nadda, Fadda, Bhadda is here. When they have no audience, they ask their workers to do drama.”

‘Accusing us by attacking themselves’

Talking about the incident in the Diamond Harbor area, Mamata Banerjee raised her finger and said, “You have security personnel with you. How can someone attack you? The attack would have been planned, I have asked the police to investigate. But I will not tolerate lies all the time. They (BJP workers) come every day with weapons (for rallies). They are slapping themselves and blaming the Trinamool Congress for this. Just think about the situation. They are roaming with BSF, CRPF, Army and CISF … Then why are you so scared?”

” This is not Bengal’s culture”

Responding to Mamata Banerjee’s jibe, Nadda said, “She has given me a lot of nouns, ideas and vocabulary. This is not Bengali culture.”
