Priyanka Gandhi Vadra detained; Govt impose section 144

Lucknow | Around 10 people have died and 18 were injured in Uttar Pradesh’s Sonbhadra district after a land dispute turned into a violent clash on Wednesday.

The entire dispute is based on a plot of land located in Sonbhadra’s Ghorawal area. The land belonged to an IAS officer who sold it to the village head Yagya Dutt. Dutt who wanted to take possession of the land reached the spot with his hench men in 10 to 12 tractors. The village heads henchmen then open fire at the villagers who opposed them from taking over the land.
