A key accused in the murder of Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) chief in Tamil Nadu K Armstrong was killed in a police encounter late Saturday evening. Officials said the accused was taken to the spot to recover weapons used in Armstrong’s killing when he opened fire at the police. He was killed in retaliatory firing. Last month, Armstrong was allegedly hacked to death by six people in Chennai.
